His research focuses on nanotechnology-based sensors for detecting hazardous gases and environmental pollutants. Dr. Chan Joo Jang is a professor at the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) in Busan, South Korea, specializing in physical oceanography. His expertise encompasses numerical modeling, coastal processes, ocean currents and circulation, mixed layer dynamics, and coastal oceanography. With a PhD from Yonsei University and research experience at Texas A\&M University, Dr. Jang has contributed to over 80 publications, amassing more than 1,000 citations. His recent work includes studies on marine heatwaves, climate change impacts on fisheries, and ocean circulation dynamics. He is affiliated with KIOST's Ocean Circulation and Climate Research Center.

Dr Zach Boakes is the co-founder of ‘North Bali Reef Conservation’, which is a non-profit NGO set up in 2017 with the aim of working with local fishermen and international volunteers to restore a previously degraded coral reef through the construction of artificial reefs. Zach has recently completed his PhD, where his research assessed the restoration of ecosystem services (ecological and socioeconomic) associated with coral reef conservation programmes in Indonesia.

Dr. Rachmayanti has contributed to various projects, including the development of a 4-in-1 microalgae phototank for carbon dioxide absorption in limited spaces, in collaboration with industry partners. She is also actively involved in science communication and community engagement initiatives
